A tribute to my sister...

My sister, Rozalynn has such an amazing blog.  She is always posting the most fun pictures and has such an eloquent and thoughtful way of writing. She often spotlights and dedicates posts to loved ones which most bring me to tears and not once have I thought to do so.  (See the post).  As we been told (many times) imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so in light of that, I dedicate this post to her.

Oh my sistar! YOU are the best in the world! It seems I can think of a million times when I was absolutely horrible to you... the soap on your violin bow, the honey on your alarm clock, cutting your mermaids' hair (but only because I wanted her to have short hair like you:), the "line" I used to draw on the floor when we shared a room...and who can forget the fish incident.  Apparently I will never live that one down :)
BUT we also had some really good times.  Remember when we would play dress up at grandmas for hours and sneak upstairs at the candy shop to grab handfulls of jellybellys?! Not to mention the times at Smith Park, the slip n'slide and the many incidences of terrorizing our younger brother.  Thank goodness he turned out normal! I'm so thankful that over the last few years especially we've gotten so much closer. I think once I moved away I learned to appreciate my family so much more. I'm so grateful to have you as my sister and would not trade you for anyone in the WEEERLD!

And although I didn't let you borrow my clothes, (I hope you still love me) and killed your fish (which I feel was justified by mine being sick and dying),  I have always loved having you as a sister.  I even used to pretend in my head that we were really twins- no joke! We have had a lot of good times and we have so many more to come! You have always been an example to me, believe it or not.  You always say the right things and are the best listener-a great friend to all.  Your perma-positive attitude and your love towards everyone.  The love you have for the gospel is incredible and you set such a high president for me to strive for.  Don't grow up to be like me-I can get grumpy.  You keep on being the fabulous girl you are; bubbly, friendly, and kind.  You will be the best mom-because you (and my mom!) know how to make the most A-Dorable bows.  PLUS you are already such a fantastic aunt not only to Everlie, but to Mitch's nieces and nephews and are so good with any kid that crosses your path.  I love having you as my best friend.  I love you.

Love you for forever and always,
Your favorite older sister.

Announcing...

I suppose since my baby will be 5 weeks tomorrow-I'd better make some updates on our newest addition.  Meet Miss Everlie Moselle Eborn.
Weighing in at 7lb. 11oz. and 19-3/4"
The delivery and birth went very well- especially after the epidural... :) She was born at 10:36p, December 7, 2010, making her grandpa Don right on with the due date... Brent and I's predictions were way off.  We weren't expecting her to be four days overdue, but better better late than never. This little piece of heaven was totally worth everything-even the heartburn-have you seen such a child with so much hair?!
The last 5 weeks have been so crazy, but we don't know what the heck we've been doing without her.  I could just stare at her for days.
Week 1

Week 2
Week 3
Week 4
And week 5 pictures and more to come :)  Our little bug is so full of life.  She is very alert and is strong enough to hold her head up pretty good.  We love her so much!
