The last of October

Is it sad I want to cry because my little baby will be a year in a month?
Probably.

But since I am extremely proactive (and not procrastinating) I have already done up her birthday.  Only took me an hour and a half and pinterest.   Whoo!

Now I just have to start...

I figure if I start now, and add things here and there, I won't be a complete basket case when December 7 (party will be on her proclaimed due date: the 3rd) hits.

Until then... Here's some more of our little {less than one year old} nugget...
Saying her animal sounds.
 Rotting her brain with Fraggles.
Finding a new trick to scare momma.
Taking a tubby with a cookie monster face.
 Rotting her brain some more...
Trunk or treating with the cousins.
Getting her fair share of her stash.
And yes, she was dressed up as Red Fraggle.
No one had a clue as to what she was, sans two people...
Haha.  Oh well.  Brent and I sure enjoyed watching her in all her cuteness dressed up as one of her favorite muppets.

And what a tough girl:
We were at a birthday party the other night when she was holding onto a chair and it fell on her.
Poor thing had a nice red bump between her eyebrows, a tongue with two bloody teeth marks and a cut on her chin.  Only cried for a few minutes, mostly because she was scared and her tongue hurt.
Must have some Chuck Norris in her since later on in evening she was being as crazy as ever crawling and climbing over every little thing she could find.

A Month in Review

In about a months' time we've...
Conquered stairs.
Visited Grandma Wilson and Aunt Arvil in Roosevelt, UT.
Said good-bye to my brother for two years.
 Cut bangs...for the third time.
Proved once again, that my child is a chocoholic.
Said over and over that Everlie is "SO BiG".

While perfecting her cheesy smile.

Attended our yearly round of Art in the Park,
 Pointed at roses,
And have recieved lots of slobbery, but welcome kisses.
Soured the closet for lots and lots,
and lots of books to read before bedtime.
Concluded that our precious child sleeps weird,
And weirder.
Checked the Boise Zoo off our list,
 While enjoying watching the monkeys,
 Fed the goats,
And watched Daddy feed the goats,
And rode the camel like a champ.
 Mastered climbing on the couch,
And going through Momma's purse.
Cleaned and organized all my closets.
Swang for the first time and LOVED it!
Also loved Daddy taking her down the slide.
Added Sesame Street to our repertoire.
Learned that play time at the mall is totally awesome.
Learned how to drive a parked car,
While jamming out to the radio tunes.  Silly Nugget. :)

She's a little obsessed...

The reason for Samee's obsession with a little yellow duck is slightly perplexing...
It was a gift for our "nugget", before she was Everlie from my mom and since we've brought it out for E's tubbies, Samee won't rest until she acquires it.

We recently got back from a Utah trip in which we visited Brent's grandma in Roosevelt.  As we were giving Everlie a tubbie, grandma kept asking why Samee kept coming in and out of the bathroom.  Was she concerned for the safety of her little sister as she took a bath?
No.
She's trying to find the duckie.
We've bought her her own duckie, and it just won't do.
She has to have that one.
Dogs right?
Course it doesn't help that we egg her on...

A month for Brent

If you think that I have been neglecting my blog-you're probably right.  I think it's hard for me to sit down and sift through all the pictures and videos that I've taken that I'd like to share and then realize how fast this year is zooming.  My little girl is eight months old, five short of a year-and I
 just.
can't.
take it.
I've told Brent that I need another baby quick or I'll have an aneurism, but he won't listen.  He just waves me off and mumbles something about me talking crazy.
I'm already baby hungry again, yes... Go ahead and call me crazy Brent.

So here's what we've been up to:

Brent had his annual Jackson Jet softball tourney.  Such a fun time to go out and watch him play.  Everlie had a good time, she has this thing for sports.  Can't put my finger where she gets it from.   I played three years ago with them, and they haven't asked me back.  I'm that good.

And then we Brent had a crappy day:
Really crappy.
It started with a constant back pain on Tuesday.
Then got worse on Wednesday.
By Thursday, he could stand it no longer and went to the Dr.
Resulting in emergency kidney stone surgery.
Hmm.
That was fun.
He was out about two weeks.  Two of the most painful weeks he's ever been through.
At least now he knows what childbirth feels like.
At least I had an epidural :)
At the dr's offfice...for 3.5 hours a week after his surgery.  He wasn't able to keep anything down, not even water.  So they gave him an IV, gave him some good drugs.
Negative 12 pounds later, he's all good.

Brent celebrated his 29th birthday.  Man he's getting old! :)
He had a great day, even though he had to work.  I surprised him with a Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Cake.  And yes, it is delicious as it sounds.

 Happy Birthday Baby Cakes!!
I'm so proud of him.  He's such a hard worker and the best daddy to his little girls (Samee included), and a stand up husband.  I'm so grateful that he's MINE!! :)

And just a few more of *E*...

Whaat?

The "Lemon" video.  She's one funny nugget.
And just today, I found two little top teeth getting ready to come down.
